Your team settings are where you control who has access to your LeadScout account and what they can do once they’re in. Every person you add gets a role — owner, admin, or rep (sales) — and that role determines which features and data they can reach. You can invite new members by email, change someone’s role at any time, and remove members who should no longer have access, all from Settings → Team.

Roles and permissions

LeadScout has three roles. Choose the right one when you send an invite — you can always change it later.

Owner

Full access. Owners can manage billing, invite and remove team members, change roles, manage prospects, and see every prospect in the account. Only one owner exists per account.

Admin

Team managers. Admins can invite and remove team members, change roles, and view all prospects across the account. They cannot access billing settings.

Rep (Sales)

Field reps. By default, reps see only their own prospects. An owner or admin can grant a rep the ability to manage prospects or view all prospects if the role requires it.
Only owners can access billing settings. Owners and admins can invite new team members and manage existing ones.

Rep permission overrides

When a rep needs broader access without being promoted to admin, an owner or admin can enable two additional permissions on their profile:
  • Can manage prospects — lets the rep create, edit, and delete prospects beyond their own
  • Can view all prospects — lets the rep see every prospect in the account on the map and in lists

Invite a team member

Invitations are sent by email. The recipient clicks a link to accept and create their account.
1

Open Team settings

Go to Settings → Team in the left navigation.
2

Click Invite member

Click Invite member at the top of the team list.
3

Fill in their details

Enter their first name, last name, email address, and optionally their phone number. Select the role — admin or rep (sales) — they should have when they join.
4

Send the invite

Click Send invite. LeadScout emails the person a link to accept the invitation and set up their account. The invite appears in the pending list until they accept.
You can resend or cancel a pending invite from the team list if the recipient didn’t receive it or you need to correct their details.

Change a team member’s role

1

Find the member

Go to Settings → Team and locate the person in the member list.
2

Open their profile

Click the member’s row or the edit icon next to their name.
3

Select a new role

Choose admin or rep (sales) from the role dropdown. If you’re updating a rep, you can also toggle the Can manage prospects and Can view all prospects permissions from the same panel.
4

Save

Click Save. The change takes effect immediately.

Remove a team member

1

Find the member

Go to Settings → Team and locate the person you want to remove.
2

Remove them

Click the edit icon next to their name, then select Remove member. Confirm the action when prompted.
Removing a member revokes their access immediately. Their prospect data stays in your account — it is not deleted.
