LeadScout is built for field teams that knock doors every day — so the questions below focus on what matters most in practice: getting set up, understanding your plan, knowing what your team can see, and making the most of the tools available to you. If you don’t find your answer here, reach out to our support team.
LeadScout is a modern door-to-door canvassing and field sales platform for home services businesses, roofing teams, contractors, solar companies, political groups, pest control companies, and more. It gives your team a shared map to pin prospects, track lead statuses, manage territories, schedule appointments, and measure performance — all from the web or mobile app.
LeadScout offers three plans:
  • Scout Buddy15/user/month(or15/user/month (or 12/user/month billed annually). Designed for solo agents and small teams.

  • Homeowner address and property data (300 lookups per month included; additional lookups at $0.05 each)
  • No limits on users or prospects
  • Territory creation and rep assignment
  • A gamified leaderboard and rep progress tracking
  • A reporting and analytics dashboard
  • Zapier integration

Yes. LeadScout has a mobile app for both iOS and Android, and mobile access is included on every paid plan. The app connects to the same data as the web dashboard, so your team stays in sync in the field.
Yes. LeadScout supports importing prospects via CSV and exporting your prospect list as well. Import and export are available on all plans, including Scout Buddy.
A knock is an interaction recorded against a prospect’s address — for example, when a rep visits a door and logs the outcome. Knocks create a history of contact attempts so you and your team can track what has already happened at each address.
A territory is a defined geographic area drawn on the map that you can assign to a rep. Territories help you organize your canvassing campaigns, prevent overlap between reps, and track coverage. Territory creation and assignment are available on the Pro plan and above.
Yes. LeadScout includes a customizable lead status system (described in the app as a lite CRM). You can define the statuses that match your sales process — for example, “Not Home”, “Interested”, “Appointment Set”, or “Sold”. Custom lead statuses are available on all plans.
Yes. You can export your prospect list on all paid plans. The export includes the prospect data your team has collected, which you can use for reporting or importing into another tool.
Property data is available on the Pro plan and gives you access to homeowner address information, property values, and permit history for addresses your team is canvassing. Each Pro account includes 300 property data lookups per month. Additional lookups are billed at $0.05 per lookup, and you can set a monthly budget cap to stay in control of costs.
LeadScout connects to other tools in a few ways:
  • Google Calendar — sync appointments directly from LeadScout (available on Scout Buddy and above).
  • Zapier — connect LeadScout to thousands of apps, including popular CRMs (available on Pro and above).
  • Custom integrations and API access — available on the Scale plan for teams that need deeper, tailored integrations.
LeadScout has three roles:
  • Owner — full access, including billing management, team management, inviting users, and viewing all prospects.
  • Admin — can invite and manage team members and view all prospects, but cannot manage billing.
  • Rep — can manage their own prospects and, if granted individually, manage prospects assigned to others. Reps only see their own prospects by default unless an admin or owner grants them broader access.
If a rep needs to view another rep’s prospects, an owner or admin can grant that access from the team settings page.
LeadScout pricing is per user per month — each active team member on your account counts as one seat. You’re billed based on the number of seats at your chosen plan rate. On annual billing, the yearly amount per user is charged upfront. For the Scale plan, contact sales for a custom quote.
