The Zapier integration is available on the Pro and Scale plans. If you’re on Scout Buddy, upgrade under Settings → Billing to access it.
What you can automate
Push leads to your CRM
Automatically create or update contacts in HubSpot or Salesforce whenever a new prospect is added or a status changes in LeadScout.
Notify your team in Slack
Send a Slack message to a channel or person when a prospect’s status changes or a new appointment is booked.
Log appointments to a spreadsheet
Add a new row to Google Sheets or Airtable whenever an appointment is created, keeping your records automatically up to date.
Trigger multi-step workflows
Chain actions across multiple apps — for example, create a CRM contact, send a confirmation email, and log the lead to a sheet in one Zap.
Set up a Zap
1
Find LeadScout on Zapier
Log in to your Zapier account at zapier.com. In the search bar, search for LeadScout to find the official app integration.
2
Create a new Zap
Click Create Zap and select LeadScout as the trigger app. Choose the trigger event that should start your workflow — for example, “New Prospect” or “Prospect Status Changed”.
3
Connect your LeadScout account
When prompted, click Sign in to LeadScout and authorize Zapier to access your account. You only need to do this once; Zapier saves the connection for all future Zaps.
4
Configure the trigger
Follow Zapier’s prompts to set up the trigger. You can often add filters at this step to narrow which records activate the Zap — for example, only prospects with a specific status.
5
Add an action
Choose the app you want to send data to (HubSpot, Slack, Google Sheets, etc.) and pick the action (create contact, post message, add row, etc.). Map the LeadScout fields to the fields your action app expects.
6
Test and turn on
Run a test to confirm data flows correctly, then turn your Zap on. It runs automatically in the background from this point forward.
Common field mappings
When setting up actions in Zapier, you will map LeadScout data to your destination app’s fields. Here are the most commonly used LeadScout fields:Troubleshooting
My Zap isn't triggering
My Zap isn't triggering
Check that your Zap is turned on in Zapier. Also confirm the event type you selected matches the action you’re performing in LeadScout — for example, a “New Prospect” trigger only fires when a new record is created, not when an existing one is updated.
Fields are missing in Zapier
Fields are missing in Zapier
Pull fresh sample data by clicking Test trigger in Zapier. If a field is missing, make sure the LeadScout record you’re testing with actually has a value for that field.
I can't find my LeadScout account to connect
I can't find my LeadScout account to connect
Make sure you are logged in to the correct LeadScout account in your browser before authorizing Zapier. If you manage multiple LeadScout companies, each one requires a separate Zapier connection.
