Appointments in LeadScout let you schedule a specific follow-up time with a prospect — a return visit, a quote presentation, or a closing call. Every appointment is tied to a prospect record, so the full context of your pipeline is always one tap away when you show up at the door. Appointments appear in your LeadScout calendar view and can sync to Google Calendar so your schedule stays in one place.

What an appointment contains

Each appointment stores the following information:

Appointment time

The date and time of the scheduled follow-up. Appointments are ordered chronologically in the calendar view.

Duration

How long the appointment is expected to last, in minutes.

Prospect

The prospect the appointment is for. Includes the prospect’s name and address for quick reference.

Created by

The team member who scheduled the appointment, recorded automatically.

Scheduling an appointment

You create appointments from within a prospect’s detail panel.
1

Open the prospect

Find the prospect in the Prospects list or tap their pin on the Map. Click the row or pin to open the detail panel.
2

Click Schedule Appointment

Scroll to the Appointments section in the detail panel and click Schedule Appointment (or + Appointment).
3

Set the date and time

Pick the appointment date and time from the date-time picker. This becomes the scheduled follow-up time visible in the calendar.
4

Set the duration

Enter the expected duration in minutes. This is optional but useful if you are syncing to Google Calendar.
5

Save

Click Save. The appointment is attached to the prospect and appears in the calendar view.
After you schedule an appointment, consider updating the prospect’s lead status to “Appointment Scheduled” so it shows up correctly in analytics and the map.

Viewing appointments in the calendar

All your upcoming appointments are listed in chronological order in the calendar view. Each entry shows the appointment time, the prospect’s name, and their address. Click any appointment to navigate directly to that prospect’s detail panel. You can filter appointments by date range — pass dateFrom and dateTo query parameters to scope the view to a specific window.

Google Calendar sync

You can connect your LeadScout account to Google Calendar so that every appointment you schedule in LeadScout automatically appears on your Google Calendar.

Set up Google Calendar integration

Learn how to connect your Google account and configure two-way calendar sync.
Google Calendar sync is configured at the account level. Each team member needs to connect their own Google account to sync their own appointments.

Managing existing appointments

To view all appointments for a specific prospect, open the prospect’s detail panel and scroll to the Appointments section. Appointments are listed in ascending chronological order, with the next upcoming appointment shown first. To delete an appointment, open it from the prospect’s detail panel and click Delete. Deleted appointments are removed from the calendar view and will not sync to Google Calendar.
Deleting an appointment in LeadScout does not automatically remove it from Google Calendar if it was already synced. Remove it from Google Calendar separately if needed.
